乱世中我们都是尘埃，灾难中人们不过是海里的一粒盐。四个不同的人的角度展现了当年古斯塔洛夫号的那场灾难，普通人的悲欢离合跃然纸上。虽然是英文版的，但是并不难读，故事非常具有画面感，改编成电影应该很不错，几个人物非常有特点。
评分Amazing audiobook! 作为YA historical fiction 这本书给我带来了超大惊喜! 改编自鲜为人知的历史事件Gustloff 没有以“落入俗套”的犹太人为出发点 而是用各个不同种族的“小人物”们引导剧情发展 很动人 战争固然残酷 又总能全方位体现出人性最邪恶与最美好的一面 只愿 世界和平
评分第一次了解Gustloff事件，在后记里作者也说明了当时并不止一艘船被击沉，其中还有一艘满载从集中营出来的犹太人的船只也沉没在Baltic……书中四个主角都有不同的背景，作者通过不同角色的切换讲述了整个故事，因为文字简单，读起来异常顺利，看完的感受就是，对于平民来说，战争就是残酷的……
评分闲时可重读。看得出痕迹但不错，手法也很有参考意义。这段时期是隐藏的兴趣点。
评分读这本书是在一本艰深无序时空跳跃的虚拟自传之后，所以看到这么简单的文字的狂喜之情可以想象，很久没有读过文字这么简单有力的小说了，但是过半之后未免觉得情节有些套路，几个主要人物的过往，秘密，生死结局都猜个八九不离十了。最后发现原来这本书是美国给中学生的推荐读物，实在有点汗颜啊。
