1、題目可以稱為：窮國該怎樣發展——中國經驗。2、解釋框架：製度與市場的共生演化，即先是弱製度條件下發展經濟（建立市場），中是經濟項目混亂要求製度改進，後是改進後的製度得以維護市場。 3、其中的具體機製以及中國經驗：中央設定原則和紅綫（既有統一性也有靈活性），權力下放地方開始錦標賽（中央設定規則，保證目標達到），鼓勵先富帶後富（從東到西，類似雁行模式）。4、其他一些注意的地方：我國的漸進（且廣泛）改革模式很不錯，個人關係網在全民招商中至關重要但是造成腐敗，但是當時中央設定的成功目標主要限定在經濟發展而非清廉程度。5、美帝學者通過這本書看到中國問題的復雜性，中國人看瞭也能有收獲，畢竟還是要把復雜問題簡單化，對話瞭一遍許多理論，然後把自己這一套搞齣來推廣一下也挺閤適。主題很重要，訪談做瞭很多。

前麵部分非常好，特彆是序言，總結得很到位。後麵稍微有點鬆懈。但是總體上是一本不錯的書。

大緻翻過，這纔是講好某強國故事的典範嘛！但是，這書的核心思想難道不就是高中政治必修課“經濟生活”的內容嗎？很多觀點其實就是對鄧小平文字的改述呀！

開篇序言第一章與結論挺不錯，尤其在結尾末比照以歐洲、尼日利亞、美國社會發展作參考，中間幾章節通過江西、福建、浙江、湖北四省縣市案例來討論自改革開放以來政府所採取之種種應對之道及結果呈現。由於社會自身獨特屬性，故而很難應用「放之四海而皆準」之定律。驚嘆1970年人均糧食供應量略等於1930年代，1980人均GDP摺閤當時美元計價193????。另外四縣市譯名翻譯實在有丈二和尚摸不著頭腦之感。想請教一下著者：Upstart County, Forest Hill County, Humble County, Blessed County分別對應那幾個城市，著實費解。

最近看過的一些書裏，文筆好的都不是美國人寫的...
