Roxane Gay短篇小說集，可視為當代美國人物速寫集。基調是殘忍、殘酷，因此Florida，La Negra Blanca幾篇講階級和種族的殘酷，就特彆犀利精準，相比之下其他一些講情欲和孤獨的殘酷的，就顯得repetitive瞭。

评分Difficult Women是一本更灰暗的書。開篇讓我想起瞭《房思琪的初戀樂園》，無法停止下來的性侵。自我憎惡、放棄……太苦瞭，苦得沒邊瞭。但我不知如何對比這本書同中文裏麵的故事，有典型美國寫作班的風格，成熟，也有點用力過猛的情緒掌控(試圖)。這本幾乎是準備晚餐時候聽的，像是知乎”你聽過的最悲慘的女人”，有點殘忍。
