第一次看JG的書，知道青少年對他的書的崇拜。結果很失望。青少年的書籍中如果缺少瞭沮喪、抑鬱、焦躁就不能成為流行的青少年讀物。

Green 的青少年文學一直保持這樣的魅力：人物飽滿，可愛幽默也經常有缺點的真實（硬要挑刺的話也許就是作為青少年他們的成熟度和知識儲備量？），總能在不經意間教會我們成年人新的角度看世界。這本也是如此。這個並不算波瀾起伏的故事裏，我們看到Aza的OCD and anxiety 到底是什麼樣的，讓我們幸運的健康人更近一些看到心理健康問題給人帶來的巨大摺磨和挑戰。Green的書還有一個特點，有些情節的新鮮感，閱讀多年後都能想起那個畫麵。
