很多我喜歡的畫派、畫家都沒講到；花了很大篇幅在20, 21世紀的現當代藝術

这本书最大的两个特点：一是条理性，从史前到当代，如古代女人擦了桂花油的头发，一丝不乱，而且每一大章节开始之前还有时间轴的比对；二是线索性，不同风格、不同流派之间的过渡毫不生硬，特别是会将相似的、或有承接关系的作品和艺术家放在一起对比（表格形式哦），诞生背景都有涉及，没有一样东西是凭空蹦出来的。
