不愧是Lantolf，儼然已經是社會文化理論在二語習得領域的掌門人瞭。此書攤子鋪得不大，隻講瞭中介、內化與活動理論這三個核心概念，但把它們對二語習得的影響說得很透，貴在精深。我覺得甚至可以當做瞭解社會文化理論的書去看瞭，由於有瞭語言發展的依托，或許比Leontev、Werstch、Cole他們的著作還要易懂一些。
