In the mid 90s he returned to prose, his first love, and began work on his epic fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire. He has been in the Seven Kingdoms ever since. Whenever he's allowed to leave, he returns to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he lives with the lovely Parris, a big white dog called Mischa, and two cats named Augustus and Caligula who think they run the place.

大白腿大胸的希瑞是八十年代大陆动画屏幕的异数，当时迅速超越大头小身子的花仙子和小叶子成为我的荧屏女神。这是我进入魔幻世界的启蒙作品，里面的基本元素，公主，白马，剑，王子，女巫，魔法等等，一直延续到到冰火。出于简单幼稚原则，希瑞公主同时是其势力方的主要战力...

相比第一季高度忠于原著，很多小说党抱怨第二季对原著的改编很大。当网上嚷嚷这个角色没有，这个那个改动的的声音，促使我开始看列王的纷争。关于人物一开始看序章，就遇到了不认识的人物，席琳和补丁脸，看来他们二人都没能再电视剧里出场，让人期待的血戏班也被删减掉了。...
