非常友好的閱讀體驗，作者引言裏關於古希臘待客傳統的章節值得關注，這對故事有很好的背景提示作用。

算是一個比較新的本子吧，一個女學者翻譯，又特意請瞭個女演員來念，聽瞭一遍，效果還是不錯的；細節什麼的完全不必計較，畢竟這年頭和以前不同，以前錙銖必較，是各種本子競爭權威性，就說彆人誤人子弟，現在其實也沒誰會但把一個本子奉若圭皋吧；至於Samuel Butler的假說，我是完全無感，與其說是猜作者性彆，不如說是某種性彆特質吧 Odyssey固與Dante的Ulysses貌閤神離，可是相比Penelope，我還是更喜歡Solveig

特勒馬科斯臨行之際，斯巴達王錶示若他願意自己可以一道同行，禦馬護送他踏遍希臘的每個角落，所到之處禮物滿載……這一遍特彆留心讀特勒馬科斯的部分，經常想在《奧德賽》本捲中注定無法grown up的小王子，如果真能和斯巴達王結伴遊曆天下會怎樣？有時看著他會覺得看到一個“被夭摺”的孩子。還有另一掛心處，是奧德修斯和父親相認，他說孩提時代父親曾在果園裏把每棵果樹指給他看，突然很想知道當時是什麼光景？捲十八，奧德修斯僞裝之下的真心：Of all the creatures that live and breathe and creep on earth, we humans are weakest. 很流暢好讀的譯本，簡介和末尾的注釋也比較詳盡。

書籍裝幀和毛邊設計滿分！本來不感興趣的話題，但是就是想要入手一本啊！Introduction部分寫的深入淺齣，翻譯的很不錯。

韻律感極好，畫麵感很強，有好幾幕非常喜歡，bloodshed 一章反復讀瞭好幾遍，太爽快。寫Penelope，”She offers hope to all, sends signs to each, but all the while her mind moves somewhere all” 她隱忍聰明堅定也神秘，然她最大的價值仍在她的sexual fidelity. 寫Odysseus，他勇敢聰慧強大，卻也說齣 “when the gods bring misery and pain, we have to bear our suffering with calm.” 故事奇妙壯麗，好看。
