重讀，多有啓發。寫瞿鞦白、寫魯迅的黑暗麵的兩篇特別好，敏銳一針見血，又深懷同情。「瞭解之同情」，這是範例。

看到豆瓣上的一篇文章說夏濟安是唯一個能寫復雜英文的中國人，尤其《黑暗的閘門》。可是…（天哪感覺好不自量力）看瞭前兩章感到好疑惑。這裏的英文當然是很好的，唯獨不能用“復雜”來形容。《京華煙雲》比這個復雜多瞭。語言比較硬，觀點也硬。
