Elizabeth Strout is the author of several novels, including: Abide with Me, a national bestseller and BookSense pick, and Amy and Isabelle, which won the Los Angeles Times Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction and the Chicago Tribune Heartland Prize, and was a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award and the Orange Prize in England. In 2009 she was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for her book Olive Kitteridge. Her short stories have been published in a number of magazines, including The New Yorker. She teaches at the Master of Fine Arts program at Queens University of Charlotte.

评分【藏书阁】在一个感觉很丧的深夜看完Olive II,真的有一种很丧的感觉。人之将死，其言也善！这部续集依然是在Maine那个叫Crosby的海滨小镇，不像Stephen King的那座恐怖小镇，也不像托宾的那个悲伤小城，这是一个充满温馨的美国梦圆的小镇，房子精致漂亮，居民安逸祥和，但是这片宁静下面涌动的却是老人们无尽的孤独！丧失旧爱的Olive，在这部续作里虽然重又找到真爱，然而好景不长，八年过后她又是孤单影只......而小说的结尾，I don’t know who am I,对她来说，已然是一个幸福的结局。
