Just what makes Durkee French Fried Onions such a unique
product? For 54 years, Durkee French Fried Onions have been
made from Select prime quality yellow globe onions grown only
in New York State. The onions are sliced, coated with a specially
formulated wheat flour batter and fried in vegetable oil. After
frying, the onions are dried under controlled conditions and
vacuum-packed for maximum freshness.
All the recipes in this book were developed by skilled home
economists in the Durkee Famous Foods Test Kitchen, were taste
