Lovely. One letter away from lonely. Some people can see that straight out by reading the words; others learn that lesson the hard way. Jake Calhoun was one of those people. Jakeas story is about getting through life one day at a time, surrounded by many challenges. Heas trying to keep his head above the water; heas in college and working hard to pass his classes; heas trying to maintain friendships while doubting his new relationship every step of the way. Most importantly, heas just growing up in general and learning the lessons that ensue. With his mind constantly playing tricks on him and voicing opinions on just about everything, Jake is trying to forget the past while looking for direction into the future.
