Well written and it is not lecturing the readers. But I am still not quite empathetic with it, probably because of my own personality and background. Things like these take time.

A magnificent, magisterial, and masterly book. Tim Keller aims to unveil the whole panoply of counterfeit gods that's dominating both individuals and societies. It reveals that idolatry can be internal as well as external; there are deeper idols hidden beneath those surface idols. The former ones are perhaps more poisonous and harder to root out.
