此书已经有了中译本，但不知译得如何。当当网是把此书当成一本建筑材料物理学的书来介绍的。而真实的内容，是一群建筑史学家在讨论石头作为材料，之于现代建筑的价值、意义、挑战。第一位作者是密斯的传记人，然后就是吉迪翁的秘书的文章。。。。明显偏重对于石材的实在属性而不是什么去物质性的研究。。。。起码，原著是好书。
