不愧为中世纪三大epic poems之一，就算现在看回去还是觉得精彩

#EL 过于基督教，引起不适，就连约架都要在chapel里。Convenant of Redemption与魔鬼契约恰好对比；“罪—罚—净化”三阶论百用不厌，只有在犯错之后才可以光荣。没想明白为什么三次捕猎以狐狸告终，另外读了这些中古书，越发觉得grrm是真的懂啊

关于Gawain的duality很有意思，一个是Christ一个是Adam的biblical reference。iconoclastic, 打破了我对medieval romance的认识，虽说adventure和courtly love的因素都在，但没有romance会写本身就是星星的人会向往gutter中的生活吧。让人想起Baudelaire的l‘idéal.
