忽然想起来这是我读过的第一本英文原著小说，不过也是先看了电影而后在中关村图书大厦买了原版进口的小说！经典就是经典！

It is worthy reading and thinking over for most teenagers, especially the young boys. Although it properly includes seemingly forbidden issues like crimes, sex, betrayals and cheating, this is a great book that depicts a real world, THE world. It talks a lot about emotions and reasoning, trust and cheating ,and responsibility and bravery.

所谓的西西里黑手党实际上是帮助底层人民伸张正义的救命稻草。比起无能贪腐的政府，黑手党尽管血腥暴力对于很多人来说也是信仰一般的存在。

真没想到这竟然是我第一本从头到尾读完的原版书。电影的帮助很大，有时候人物形象动作会自然脑补出来；同时，在已经知道结局的同时，还是看的酣畅淋漓。书里有更多的细节，起承转合更有逻辑。电影和书都是伟大的作品。
