Finally, social scientists have begun to attempt to understand religious behavior rather than to discredit it as irrational, ignorant, or foolish--and Rodney Stark and Roger Finke have played a major role in this new approach. 评分"people go out being religious in much the same way that they go about everything else" is fundamental to the whole argument of the book. Although being the weakest point, it is not easy to refute.
评分Matching Economics on Religion. 我真是給跪瞭，復習的時候看幾百個propositions看得我快瘋瞭。雖然總是覺得religious economy有點牽強，但是讀著讀著又會不自覺被帶入角色。總之還是很useful的一套theories
评分依舊是rational choice theory，雖然不喜歡，但是提供不錯的視角讓我「跳齣來」去想問題。 大多proposition都前提預設瞭普遍性條件，沒有將之置於具體的語境之中。（或者作者其實就是很有野心地想建立普遍化的宗教理性選擇理論）
