亨利·保尔森，美国前财政部长，入主财政部之前曾担任高盛集团的总裁。

1946年，保尔森生于美国中西部，在一个小镇的农场长大。1964年就读于达特茅斯大学，是美国常春藤名校最佳橄榄球手之一。大四时，保尔森认识了温迪，温迪后来成为保尔森的夫人。1968年，保尔森进入哈佛大学商学院，获MBA学位。尼克松担任美国总统期间，保尔森出任总统幕僚助理和白宫内务委员会成员。

保尔森的得意之作，是自1999年担任高盛总裁所取得的业绩。任职高盛期间，保尔森成为美国最有影响的金融高手之一，一度被美国媒体冠以“华尔街权力之王”的头衔。

2006年，保尔森接替约翰·斯诺，担任美国财政部部长。很快，保尔森就面临着一大考验：拯救峭壁边缘的金融系统。
