交换时候读的书，奇怪豆瓣居然没有收录中文版，中文版是罪人忏悔录，译言古登堡计划翻译的。情节很引人入胜，用了frame narrative，有悬疑，心理描写重。不错的苏格兰小说。

一个令人费解的故事，真意仿佛隐藏在阴影之中，试图解释却又不太得法……我非常喜欢。写作手法和题材主题特别现代，就算里面塞满了圣经allusion和苏格兰历史细节也没有读时代小说的感觉。
