as usual she writes with elegence and lyricism, yet this time the plot fails to surprise and, even worse, borders on far-fetchedness and banality....it could have been a Korean drama had her language not been this poetic and intricate. btw, i agree that it's unputdownable. a sort of pop-feminist literary triumph.
