《shiver》三部曲的第一本，在goodreads上评价还蛮高的，只是评价再怎么高，也逃不过只是teen novel的命运，没有什么深奥的设定。不过也不能说没有出彩的地方，书中狼人的设定与一般的不同，而且很细致，行里行间透出的无奈、两代人间的隔阂，父母的冷漠对子女的伤害，所以也不是一无是处的不是么。

Gave up, I can't understand why paranormal teenage love stories always portrait self-obsessed girls as its heroine. A normal girl falling in love with a vampire or werewolf or whatever is cute, but turning into one of them? That's another story.
