当年连读好多本烂书，读到这本节奏轻快情节还算有逻辑的书简直像得救了一样，印象格外好。现在回想起来，情节其实很……想起一茬是一茬的感觉，没什么章法，主角确实是杰克苏，但是配角写得不错，而且设定很新颖（虽然不是仅此一家有这种设定），所以三星还是有的。

被一些媒体评为近年来最好的anti-hero奇幻小说，作者是位搞AI研究的科研人员。看了20%，放弃。第一称书写，主人公的POV缺乏深度，另男苏感甚是强烈。开场的杀人和强奸描写写得现实冷酷，不过读起来有些squeamish，不是那种有格调的黑暗风，情节也没有吸引我的地方，放弃。
