德呂恩·布奇（Druin Burch），曾在牛津大學研究人類科學。在對人類和黑猩猩遺傳學進行瞭深入研究後，他又轉而鑽研醫學，在英國東南部的許多醫院工作過。他現在在牛津大學教授人類進化學、生理學、生態學等學科，並為著名雜誌《泰晤士報文學增刊》和《衛報》撰稿。
