艾倫•梅剋辛斯•伍德（1942—2016）

Ellen Meiksins Wood

馬剋思主義曆史學傢、政治學傢。1962年畢業於加州大學伯剋利分校，獲得斯拉夫語學士學位，後進入加州大學洛杉磯分校政治係並於1972年獲得博士學位。967年至1996年於約剋大學執教政治學，因其卓著的學術貢獻被選入加拿大皇傢學院。著有《資本主義的起源》、《反對資本主義的民主》、《新社會主義》、《西方政治思想的社會史》等。
