本书第二和第三部分值得一读。虽然作者的出发点还是亨廷顿的文明冲突论，但他剖析了西方自身的原因，以及两千年之久的反西方/反天主教-基督教思潮。当然给出的解决方案太过理想化，诸如美军在中东全面撤军、完全解决巴勒斯坦问题，都是现阶段美国无法做到的

评分第一次去马来西亚的时候开始看这本书。世界上不同文化差异好大，很多事情让人无奈。战争还在继续，太多无辜的生命逝去。
