耶鲁的文学理论导论课我和Eagleton的文论搭配着记笔记。各种流派不再是线性的，而是结成了一张大网。花了六天的时间寒假也结束了。

教学参考。Paul Fry为耶鲁公开课教授，上课风格比较平实，作品雷同。因在耶鲁，对Yale Mafia感情复杂，解读较深，没回避德曼的政治问题，解构一章甚至有好几页讨论。以赫施解释循环开头，以对“反对理论”的讨论终结，自有一套体系，结构性强，逻辑明晰。对后殖民、女性主义均有涉猎，但是均纳入social context一章，比重很轻。每章有指定阅读文献，均是经典，且都见于critical tradition一书，有电子版。

这本书关注的是20世纪的文论，由于是课程讲稿，所以是每一个流派讲一两个人的选段。作者很关注“阐释”“结构”“心理”和“社会四个维度的发展和关联，但是对于具体概念的讲述不够清楚，只讲选段未免在某些过于宏大的理论面前有些以偏概全。总而言之，可以读者玩/学英语
