One of the most famous works from classical antiquity is Plato's "Symposium." The symposium of this work is more literally translated to mean a dinner-party. At this dinner-party several notable figures from classical antiquity, including Phaedrus, Pausanias, Eryximachus, Aristophanes, Agathon, and Socrates in turn give speeches in praise of the god of love. An intriguing dialogue, "Symposium," is a must read for any student of classical antiquity. This edition includes the classic introduction and translation of Benjamin Jowett.

為瞭寫《廊橋遺夢》的Review而特地去翻的，結果到頭來一句也沒用上。很好的譯本，通暢簡明。建議先看正文，再看Intro，節省時間也能獲得更多啟發。另外，終於找到瞭《柏拉圖式的愛情》MV片頭文字的齣處，我愛Aristophanes，他是這世上最浪漫的男人。
