真的不知道哪里好了哦（纽约书评一片称赞）：英文读来是简单，可是在我看来就是流水账似地记叙。这个叙述者Elena心理对自己朋友Lila的复杂的看法，我真的看的翻白眼。有这么不自信，嫉妒，在乎自己朋友对自己看法的吗？就算你再出身贫民窟，知道自己学习能力后，还是在那里经常自怨自艾。对自己母亲瘸腿的厌恶的描写我想请问作家要表达什么？

相當推薦。單單這本，我覺得可以作為小說訓練的教科書，細節、情感、大畫面以及簡單卻極具表達力的語言都囊括了。說角色的話，Lila這樣富有可怕生命力的女孩我很是羨慕，但感覺我的成長過程中更像是Elena。
