Sotomayor is a good writer who tells moving stories and her path to the supreme judgship is undoubtedly inspiring, especially when she recalled the time of her father's depature, though I suspect as a politican how much she spinned it. 釜底抽薪從來都屬於智者，你不得不服她的發跡史，抽到South Bronx / catholic upbringing/juvenile obesity / father died young/ mom ( used to be) an alcoholic這樣牌麵的working class ，還能翻身打進Supreme Court ，絕對是極有慧根的瞭。所以，以此為雞湯來勵誌的，我覺得普適性不大呢。

作為自傳這簡直寫的太好瞭 文筆優雅流暢不學究 章節架構自然 瞎bb說她灌雞湯的要求真是太高 人傢就是把人生活得這麼雞湯怎麼辦呢 何況還要考慮讀者需求啊 她用半本書寫自己的離婚經曆你就爽瞭嗎？用另外半本寫自己的錶哥吸毒？她也對這些負麵事件都做瞭一章的詳細描寫瞭啊 讀者一看到一個最高法大法官齣自傳 就是好奇傳奇人物背後的那些一步一步的腳印 她在這一點上做的簡直不能更好 人傢前序就說瞭 自傳肯定不可避免地比傳記要少些客觀的 你說你還不爽人傢賣雞湯 講的都是正麵的事 那你看瞭前序就彆看瞭呀 等齣瞭傳記再看她的客觀生活啊
