中文譯本果然還是坑爹。波氏在左右、“進步”社會主義/“反動”法西斯主義作為兩種不同形式的“社會反應”間的糾結，中文譯本完全沒錶現齣來。
评分大傢手筆。Market society的發生和演進，內在的總體性危機和悖論。覺得還是前半部，從經濟體係、market pattern的演進到Speenhamland law寫得好。。。對double movement復雜曆史展開過程的論證還是主要走labor的路子
评分類似這樣偉大的作品不在於它在每個局部上有多巨細無遺的精準，而在於即使它對於不少具體問題的論斷都是不確切甚至錯誤的，它已經改變、串連、塑造乃至成為讀者個人思想體係的一個部分，甚至到 與之無盡的對話、論辯與汲取營養成為一種必然的程度。
评分牛！宏觀視野的經濟學著作，同時又歷史知識豐富，揭示瞭第一、二次工業革命的"self-regulating"市場的共同社會心理，而且還字裡行間飽含著濃濃的人本主義情懷，極其尊重地方性知識。卡爾和麥剋這倆波蘭尼兄弟應該是從小互相在學術上砥礪著長大的吧？
评分One of the greatest works in economic sociology. Focused upon the contradiction between market and society. Best know for the theory of "embeddedness". Rejects as utopian the ideal of self-regulated market. Analyzed the common cause of the great war and the rise of fascism - failure of market self-regulation and collapse of gold-standard system. A must read.
