其實高中英語課學過選段，不過讀完是在大二下的西方文學選讀課。這篇比較簡單易讀。懷念那個超級gentleman的金發小老頭，晚十一點後仍然半小時內迴郵件答疑，一年之後還會早起迴郵件，改CV巨細。

很俗套yet感動瞭我

英語寫作課的讀物

The meaning of Christmas Day as well as the truth of happiness. Warm my heart in the extraordinary way. I love happy ending, although there are few with such fortune like Scrooge's in the real life. "God bless Us, Every One!"

狄更斯的这篇作品很短——但是据作者说很用心写，用词和语言不难，不过依然很华丽。故事的主题很老套，表现手法也算不得新颖，应该算是为孩子和需要童话的大人写的小人书。 根据Ruth Goodman在BBC的Victorian Farm纪录片里的说法，这本书不但总结了截至狄更斯写作年代的许多圣...  

The book felt a little more realistic to the film adaptations, yet managed to keep a real sense of magic, and therefore I do feel that this was more effective and a little more special. in a word, there's no excuse not to pick up this heartwarming Christm...  

这书是在拖着作业不想写和心不在焉的情绪里从图书馆挖出来的——之所以用“挖”是因为该书被我从书架上抽出来时候封皮已经不见了，不知道什么年代的牛皮纸重新粘了个皮，书名用圆珠笔写在上面。与这破烂情况呼应的是，它已然有开始发霉的趋势了。 书里夹的借书卡上大部...  

看的是原版书，单词不难，都能看明白，剧情并不复杂，而且有些神化，看到幽灵带他回到过去时，心里很是震颤，感受到内心最脆弱的部分，整部小说透露出人生哲理。看完后，才知道原来的大名鼎鼎的狄更斯的作品，果然是精品。
