在那个年代，算是巨著，但是实际内容上来说，比较苍白，是现代艺术思想的延伸。现在看这本书，算是知道什么叫螺旋式上升了。对了，看的是简体中文版，鄙视自己一个。

interesting! 我无法确定自己读懂了多少。欣赏Venturi严谨的逻辑思维。感觉后现代建筑在中国的发展曲折而漫长

venturi对建筑史分类运用背景是榜样，argument需要花大量时间visualize（显然我fail一大半...）。这种一边倒的顶柯布批密斯的论调感觉极其二元武断。最后一章全部都是自己设计的陈述，说Wright和密斯是逃避和掩饰，感觉venturi在自己的设计上直接走了极端是故意制造矛盾和所谓的复杂性。水平有限，实在不喜欢venturi的一些设计和justification。(既然venturi这么喜欢在美国校园交作品，我就来吐槽一下我们学校的图书馆吧。面对一个19世纪的Greek temple，只要不矫情的复制粘贴，你怎么在旁边建东西都已经有contradiction的先决条件了好么。内部空间有连续性的表达，但有吐槽无力的楼梯，虽然不知道是不是venturi的改动。)
