目前看完了一章，作者为了时间顺序，牺牲了当时事件发生的连贯性，在事件描述上不是很有逻辑，事件写的比较散。第一章全部笔墨描写的是英国对海洋和美洲侵略的历史，如果先适当描述当时欧洲的整个格局，让读者清楚英国那个时期在欧洲的地位是怎样的，这有助于读者更深刻的理解...

英文原版是有关本人大英帝国课程的必读书目之一，提供了非常详细的关于英国殖民史的一些细节。就书本身的内容而言应该是一本好书。 但是对这本中国友谊公司最新出版的中文译版，我想对其翻译内容和文法提出以下质疑（本人使用的是kindle正版，kindle版已和男朋友购买的纸质版交...
