粗略看完，值得再讀。作者認為當代藝術是個陰謀。就像赤裸裸的色情泛濫而消滅瞭性幻想一樣，藝術泛濫就消滅瞭美學。藝術已經背離瞭自己的形式（形式是象徵性的，純粹的，需要精心設計的），用所謂審美價值（這樣的價值自身是一個虛幻）參與市場交換，換來人們的漠不關心，和假裝藝術仍瞭不起。作者推崇Warhol和Duchamp，認為是現代性的代錶，因為他們讓藝術走下神壇，引領我們走嚮抽象和虛無，因為這纔符閤我們的時代和人們真實的狀態。
