Krapp's Last Tape was first performed by Patrick Magee at the Royal Court Theatre in October 1958, and has since been played by a host of distinguished actors including Albert Finney and Max Wall.
Embers was specially written for radio and first performed in 1959.

评分I think Krappa may be a story-teller rather than a recorder of his live. The beautiful girl was his mother,and he was the child in that black hooded perameter, the "I" is someone who seduced his mother or it's Krapp in his imagination.The off and on of the record give us more possibility to analyse the story.Pespective effect of time and narrator.
评分seminar上最喜歡的那個芬蘭男生提齣在這部劇裏麵用的是一個video tape 而不是一本日記本來錶現年輕的krapp的想法，問大傢覺得哪種形式更為tangible，更為真實。其實對於實體和擁有感的關係我自己沒什麼想法，這個男生倒是挺帥的。仔細想想的話，最喜歡的是老年krapp和青年krapp一起嘲笑更年輕的krapp的雄心壯誌吧，有一種時空交錯的感覺，或許我應該再讀一遍david的 time space compression，後現代主義太難搞瞭。
