评分Who's afraid of the big bad wolf调侃成Virginia Woolf除了谐音梗，也因为教历史的George以知识分子自居，没有比Virginia Woolf更好标榜自己品味的了（一句俏皮话让Woolf躺枪好多年然而真的跟她没关系）。重读时感受最深的是夫妻之间若决定伤害对方，戳的全是命门，针针到肉，没有回头路，但另一方面他们能编造出一个儿子来维系彼此的情感婚姻又让人很百感交集。社会对一个家庭的期许和压力让里面的人困兽斗，由权威父亲造就的女儿无法独立回应和处理丈夫的需求，孩子是维系关系的纽带不得不生成幻象，一旦打破便岌岌可危。两对couple互为时间镜像，就结局而言比早期的The Zoo Story还是有希望一些，后者真的太绝望了。
