數學天纔＋段子手＝簡直可以成精；言簡意賅的哲學寫作（盡管如他懷特海導師所言，有時不夠深刻）對idealism的一針見血的吐槽，發反戰小冊子發到坐牢，換衣服一樣樂此不疲地換哲學立場，暗戀師母...如果可以會見曆史上的名人必須是劍橋時期年輕的Russell 瞭！

中國人對羅素的瞭解，通常僅限於他的“西方哲學史”。但其實，羅素最早是因數學成就而齣名，並隨後在很多領域如政治哲學、社會學、心理學等等，獲得不俗建樹。對羅素，俺最早就是被他pacifier的政治哲學所吸引；他對Mill的崇拜和康德和黑格爾的不屑，這種反差激起瞭俺濃厚的興趣。圖書館的英文版自傳，花瞭幾天，抽空看完。總體感覺是沒法總結齣什麼東西，因為他自傳是零散的敘述紀實。但是，還是想辦法挖掘齣瞭羅素人性、頗有意思、不鮮為人知的一麵：童年的成長故事、青少年的性啓濛、高中大學的學習收獲、婚姻傢庭觀和後期的著作成就。（具體內容，請參考書評）
