The Consolation of Philosophy 在线电子书著者简介

罗马后期哲学家、政治家和音乐理论家。曾任执政官。波爱修认为“种”与“属”是头脑在感觉的基础上加工的结果，共相存在于事物之中，而它本身却是非物质性的；解释了基督教神学中“三位一体”和神的存在等教义。他将哲学区分为思辨哲学和实践哲学两部分，认为逻辑是研究哲学的工具，也属于哲学。他最早把亚里士多德的《范畴篇》、《残篇》等译为拉丁文传到西欧。主要著作有《论三位一体》、《哲学的慰藉》、《波菲利（导论）注释》、《音乐原理》（今存5卷）等。
