一本盜版書，應該是在2007年左右在北京買的。放在傢裏這麼多年，都一直沒有看，這次終於把它給看瞭。寫於10年前的書，講印度和中國的崛起。中國作為世界工廠承接瞭美國的藍領的工作，印度作為軟件，服務等的價格窪地，承接瞭美國白領的工作。講到現在和未來美國遇到的挑戰，這一趨勢無法避免，全球化到底對美國地位的利弊也很難衡量。如今看到2018年中美貿易戰的激烈，2006年的這本書還是很有前瞻性的瞭。
