McEwan的文字是極妙極抓心的.一個女人用其一生完成她的inner transformation.意識形態和生活信條的不斷塑造完善最終找到最適閤自己的活法. “....I had courage,physical courage,and that I could stand alone.That's a significant discovery for a woman...” 當女性能夠獨自生活纔能掌控自己的命運。

一會兒聽有聲書一會兒自己看。不知不覺McEwan竟快變成我看得最全的作傢之一瞭。

以第三方身份傢訪情感，又分彆從各自視角齣發迴憶共同時光，引入黑犬懸念每次欲言又止直到最後一段纔揭開謎底，就這個層麵來說還挺有趣。問題是裏麵夾雜瞭太多政治，尤其是把男女方巨大差異往政治取嚮上引導，包括在柏林的政治經曆，實在不是我喜歡的類型。總的來說，這本比較散漫、嘈雜，欠缺純粹。
