如果是为了探案，未免多编了线。如果为了塞点言情和肥皂，又未免太凉了。但事情本就应该这样。虽然书名剧透了最惊艳的一幕，尸体浮上来那段仍是坠吼的。

这部小说很奇怪。情节依旧过于复杂，看到最后都没搞明白谁死了是谁杀的她们和其他人之间究竟是什么关系，但twists&turns好过了Chandler的很多其他故事。语言风格并不像一气呵成，前面一大半索然无味，从最后大概20%之后才开始找回熟悉的感觉。这是我看过的Raymond Chandler的第五部小说了，看一部少一部，且看且珍惜。
