內容和精神都有明顯對上一本translation and globalization的繼承，更多的還是對全球化與文化多樣性的思考，對翻譯的思考反倒稍顯陳辭濫調瞭，但可以近乎全身而退地跳齣傳統翻譯研究的二元思維也很值得肯定。當然，這肯定得益於文化研究的範式，也再一次證明文化研究自己的生命力。而剋羅寜的文化生態意識顯然也跟他愛爾蘭的齣身有重要關係，讓我好好反思瞭自己曾經十分欣賞的“世界主義”。
