It's an intriguing novel. The ignorance of the French history will not impede your enjoyment of the sometimes fun and sometimes exciting plots. Alexanda Dumas is undoubted a gifted story-teller. The translator has of course done justice of Dumas' talents.

决定读《三个火枪手》是因为看了英剧《火枪手》（The Musketeer），被里面的人物迷得不要不要的。书很厚，断断续续看了几个月。可以说非常幽默，隔着我的母语都能感受到。看剧被主角的颜迷，看书也是被大仲马的文采迷！没事都可以拿出来消遣。

中世纪的画卷，需要对路易13 时斯的历史稍微有点了解。单词稍有点难度。有关中世纪神学的部分，实在是看不懂。中间情节比较枯燥。非常有文采。

All for one, one for all 夹杂法文真是……而且词汇好难这个译者的水平也是略差有点宫斗剧的感觉外国的武侠小说。貌似是Dumas根据史实编写的？背景是法王路易13（1628前后） Milady是大反派吗？我怎么觉得Caidinal才是…… D'Artagnan是后起之秀 Athos心思缜密 Aramis没什么特点感觉 Porthos头脑简单
