评分试图评论整本On Rhetoric应该是一件非常羞耻的事情。用两句话简单带过--修辞的三个specifics决定了研究的广度，两百余页中的陈述中揉进了大量N Ethics, Category, 和Poetics中的成分（N Ethics尤甚，几乎是一整个outline）, 可以看成是亚氏系统的综述。Kennedy的译本很细致，footnote全面并且不局限于书本身的内容。对于直译希腊文所带来的诸多英语语法上的残缺，K都用在文中用括号以及附注使句意完整。每章节的导读也很有帮助。

评分尽可能直译希腊文一定程度上损失了英文的易读性 核心需要的脚注都有 但是如果想要了解亚里士多德举的具体事例还是需要笺注本 对古希腊稍微有点了解人的用这个译本会容易一点 值得推荐 导读还不错 附录相关的文本挺好 相较于W.Rhys的译本来说给出S编码相对方便核查原文 但是如果没有希腊语基础直接读这个译本可能会比较困难
