曾经有过一个很生动的比方，大数据就像高中时代的sex，人人都在谈论，没人有过体验。这本由OKCupid创始人之一写就的Dataclysm用自己网站上十年时间的数据，实打实的演示了一遍大数据分析的例子。不同于满是专业词汇的教材，这本书更属于科普级的读物，所有的例子和分析都可以说是深入浅出。作为了解数据分析和其背后意义的入门读物很是不错。

Very interesting data, but mediocre writing style

科普级别的关于大数据的书。那段关于种族偏好的分析真的是犀利。黑人妹子不但受到其他族裔的嫌弃，竟然还会被自己族裔的男生嫌弃，一把辛酸泪。社科研究逐渐远离调查问卷类型的数据，进入直接观察人的行为数据时代。

三分之一的容量，撑到一又二分之一。假如insight可以真知灼见，那么可以容忍。否则就是excel 夜校班。隔靴搔痒，完全没有写到数据反映的真实社会问题（当然是我认为的）。大数据分析不能像西医一样，大便带血就全麻做肠镜。而要融合望闻问切，比如蔬菜够不够，零食多不多，饮水怎么样？

前戏太长，干货太少，那么好的数据，其实可以写的更精彩
