These take into account important advances in cognitive psychology and the science of design while confirming and extending the book's basic thesis: that a physical symbol system has the necessary and sufficient means for intelligent action. The chapter "Economic Reality" has also been revised to reflect a change in emphasis in Simon's thinking about the respective roles of organizations and markets in economic systems.

评分Textbook. 很有當時的道理，但是對現在有多適用？
评分能記住的就隻有如果作為行為係統來看的話，人類是非常簡單的，但是人的行為錶現的復雜性則是人在復雜的環境中認知自己的映像。裏麵還提到食物是否復雜在於我們的錶現形式，而且現在發現的很多復雜結構都是冗餘的，但是利用這些冗餘可以去發現正確的錶現形式。
