渴望和诱惑，冒险和逃离，承受和忍耐。喜欢这样铺陈跳跃的叙述，读起来很像生活本身。仿佛这些行为都有着足够的解释；仿佛自己到过某处，尽管可能永不会到达。

花了两年时间没事闲着读了一大半，哪怕再多人赞美爱丽丝门罗，我只能遗憾的摇摇我的头，读多了这位的小说简直让我有种呕吐感，并非不敬，实在不对口味，草蛇灰线太多了，就丧失新鲜感了也。

买的Vintage新版，Jane Smiley写的序言，门罗的作品很挑读者，想找高级鸡汤的读者会失望，功利化的读者也会失望，即便深爱她的读者，也经常忘记故事内容，但她就是这类最伟大的作家，真正的读者只能凝视所有的细节以求得什么，而她的伟大就在于，读者并不真的理解自己得到了什么，
