政治意義比文學意義重要，讓人們開始關注美國Native Indian的生存狀況。小說人物情節設計過於刻意，節奏到中後部有些拖遝，虎頭蛇尾。

不喜歡這本書，不好好說故事，人稱變換太頻繁，看到看到就暈瞭。開篇一係列美國土著印第安人遭迫害的血腥畫麵……看到書68%真的不想看瞭，閱讀體驗不好，不推薦。

Thomas Frank has come to drum the Grand Entry. Opal Viola Victoria Bear Shield has come to watch her nephew Orvil Red Feather; Orvil has taught himself Indian dance through YouTube videos, and he has come to the Big Oakland Powwow to dance in public for the very first time.
