（美）沃尔特·默奇（Walter Murch），新好莱坞运动中最为知名的音响设计师和剪辑师之一，科波拉成立的美洲西洋镜电影公司的早期骨干，多次获得英国电影学院、美国电影学院大奖。他曾剪辑或担任混录工作的作品有《对话》、《美国风情画》、《朱莉娅》、《现代启示录》、《教父2》、《教父3》、《布拉格之恋》、《人鬼情未了》、《克鲁伯》、《英国病人》（默奇凭借此片同时获得第69届奥斯卡最佳剪辑与最佳音响设计奖）、《天才雷普利》、《锅盖头》、《没有青春的青春》等，曾参与修复、重剪奥逊·威尔斯的《历劫佳人》。

译者夏彤，毕业于北京大学，从事过地震监测、机器翻译、广告创意、国际文化交流等多项工作，自加拿大艾米利•卡尔艺术大学（Emily Carr University）电影系毕业后，作品多次参加国际电影节并获大奖。2007年应邀在中央美术学院电影系任教至今。
