剪輯的精髓

說老實話低於預期, 雖然可能是剪輯理論的經典範本, 但是剪輯這種東西能放在書麵上說的可能本身就有限. 再加上Murch的本身的剪輯風格還是非常穩重正統的, 強調準確傳遞感情和服務敘事, 所以看到最後也沒什麼特彆讓人眼睛一亮的個人理論. 話說迴來, 老爺子的文筆還是不錯的. 我自己四年來的一些關於剪輯的零星的個人看法也都在書裏有相當接近的闡釋, 還是蠻開心的. 上路子, 這就叫上路子啊!

（美）沃爾特·默奇（Walter Murch），新好萊塢運動中最為知名的音響設計師和剪輯師之一，科波拉成立的美洲西洋鏡電影公司的早期骨乾，多次獲得英國電影學院、美國電影學院大奬。他曾剪輯或擔任混錄工作的作品有《對話》、《美國風情畫》、《硃莉婭》、《現代啓示錄》、《教父2》、《教父3》、《布拉格之戀》、《人鬼情未瞭》、《剋魯伯》、《英國病人》（默奇憑藉此片同時獲得第69屆奧斯卡最佳剪輯與最佳音響設計奬）、《天纔雷普利》、《鍋蓋頭》、《沒有青春的青春》等，曾參與修復、重剪奧遜·威爾斯的《曆劫佳人》。

譯者夏彤，畢業於北京大學，從事過地震監測、機器翻譯、廣告創意、國際文化交流等多項工作，自加拿大艾米利•卡爾藝術大學（Emily Carr University）電影係畢業後，作品多次參加國際電影節並獲大奬。2007年應邀在中央美術學院電影係任教至今。
